Scott Barr, Owner. Scott is committed to building a team that delivers "The Ultimate
Client Experience" on each and every project. His first job in the home improvement industry was when he was 13 years
old, and has been with Southwest Exteriors since 1990. While exceeding our clients' expectations, Scott is also
continuously working on developing a team of leaders, who are challenged and excited about their work. When asked what he enjoys the most about his position as head of Southwest Exteriors he said, "Hearing from clients that have become
raving fans of our company because of our commitment to
client satisfaction before, during, and after their
projects." In Scott's free time, he enjoys spending time with
his wife, Sherolene, and their sons, Sammy and Sawyer. His
desire is for the business to be a ministry that glorifies
God and wants to continue to support other ministries by
building a successful enterprise. |
 Brian Schroller, Team Leader. With 22 years in the banking industry, Brian Schroller recently joined Southwest Exteriors' team to manage and direct employees both spiritually and professionally as they build a center of excellence in the home remodeling industry. In addition to leading the business direction set for Southwest Exteriors, Brian will be developing Our Father's Business, a new faith-based business model that channels a percentage of profits to charitable causes selected by employees. The goal is to take best practices and apply these to nonprofit ministries and other small businesses to help them prosper. Prior to joining Southwest Exteriors, Brian held the position of Senior Vice President Portfolio Investment Manager at Frost Bank. He received a BBA in Finance and Economics from Baylor University. |
 Ryan Houchen
became part of the Southwest Exteriors team as an Exterior Designer in 2009. He and his family have been in San Antonio for 2 years and have been extremely happy with calling San Antonio their new home. Ryan and his beautiful wife, Donna, come from California and have two daughters Ava, age 5, and Ella, age 4. Ryan brings with him 13 years experience in sales and management in the customer service industry. Although he is new to Southwest Exteriors and the industry, he has been extremely excited to be a part of Southwest Exteriors. In his free time Ryan enjoys umpiring college baseball, playing golf, and mountain biking. He and his family are active members of Rockhills Church here in San Antonio and enjoy helping with teaching Sunday school and other volunteer efforts in the community. |
 Scot Carl
started with Southwest Exteriors in 2009 as an Exterior Designer. He has over 20 year’s expertise in sales and treats every customer with honesty and integrity. He has been married for over 16 great years to his wife Susie, and has a daughter Chrissy, 26 who is now married to a fine young man who will soon be a dentist. Scot also has a son, “Scoty” Carl Jr., 15 yrs. old and a freshman at Clark High School. His family attends University United Methodist church and is very active with Boy Scouts of America Troop 66. He loves to play golf, fish, and many other outdoor activities. His best asset is his love for the Lord who has taught him to smile, laugh and have fun with whatever he does. |
 Steven Jones
came on board with Southwest Exteriors in 2007 and had been our HardiePlank Production Manager for over two years. He has since shifted into a fitting role as one of Southwest's Exterior Designers. Due to his upbringing and finish carpentry background, he prides himself in giving the proper attention to detail on projects. He devotes himself entirely to ensure that our clients are given the special care and attention they deserve. Steven and his lovely wife Jamie have a beautiful daughter Raleigh Beth that was born January of 2009. When not working, Steven is very involved at Northpoint Church in New Braunfels by leading the Young Married Group and plays the piano in the worship band. |
 Ana Carranza
became part of the Southwest Exteriors family in October 2007 and quickly worked her way up to Office Administrator. She brings more than 13 years of experience in customer service and executive support to the company. She prides herself in providing our clients with a positive experience that separates Southwest Exteriors from other remodeling companies. She has been married for 13 years to her husband, Charles, and together have three handsome and energetic boys: Charlie, Jr. 13, Anthony, 11, and Alex 9. She enjoys listening to her three gifted sons play the violin, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, drums, and piano. Above all, Ana enjoys cheering and supporting all three boys in their athletic activities. She and her sons attend First Assembly of God Church. |
 Javon McKay
started with Southwest Exteriors in the fall of 2001 as a receptionist and quickly made her way up to the Marketing Administrator. She enjoys many aspects of her job, from organizing trade shows and implementing marketing ideas. She feels most rewarded when her experience helps the Southwest Exteriors family. Happily married to Jimmy since 2005, they love to travel and spend time with family and friends. Javon enjoys volunteering for different organizations such as the USO, Feeding the Homeless, Rebuilding Together, and Habitat for Humanity. |
 Kristine Parks
joined the Southwest Exteriors team in 2008. She comes to us with over 10 yrs of customer service experience, including 7 years of working with windows and doors. Her goal is to make sure every customer has a positive experience so that they will choose Southwest Exteriors for future projects and refer friends and family. She enjoys all aspects of her responsibilities from speaking with customers from the time the initial phone calls come into the office to working with the design team, and putting all the proper documentation together at the time of sale for the production teams. She enjoys spending time with her family & friends, and loves movies, music & singing. She and her family attend Hope Center Church. |
 Debra Nolen
has been with the company since 1995. She started as Production Assistant and has since worked in every department gaining valuable knowledge in every aspect of the business. Her favorite part has always been in building relationships with our clients. Her current position of Loyalty Builder was created in order to allow her to focus on cultivating those relationships. Debra assists clients with any service or warranty need, and also serves as our company liaison for many of our ministry and community partners. She feels blessed to be the mother of 2 fine young men, Gabe and Caleb and a beautiful young lady, Stephanie. Debra is a member of Community Bible Church. |
 Kenneth Binz, Sr.
brings almost 30 years of experience in residential home building and remodeling. He is our production manger in charge of special projects and will be working very closely with the other managers. Kenny is a native to San Antonio and started working in construction for his dad, who taught him the value of doing the job right. Kenny has worked in sales and managing a local building material supply company for the past 18 years. He recently worked for a small ministry, building and rehabbing low-income housing in the inner city. Kenny has been married to the love of his life, Lori, for 23yrs. They have three children, Kenneth “August”, Jr., Jessica, and Charles. Kenny has taught Sunday school in the Youth department at Churchill Baptist Church for over 10 years and he thinks that sharing Christ is his greatest calling. |
 Kevin Stapleton
began his relationship with Southwest Exteriors as a Hardie installer and most recently joined our team after 20 years experience as a bi-vocational pastor/missionary and independent contractor as our Project Manager. He and his wife Karen and four children had the privilege of ministering in bible schools in Hermosillo and Mexico City, Mexico. He and Karen greatly enjoy spending time with their four kids ranging in age from 23 to 16. Their oldest son Stephen is currently serving our country in the Coast Guard and their younger son Sam and two daughters Grace and Sarah enjoy playing basketball and running track. Kevin finds his greatest fulfillment in building relationships with our clients and ministering to their spiritual needs as they feel the freedom to share them. |
 Jim Sublousky
started with Southwest Exteriors as the Windows and Door Manager in January 2006. He is our Production Manager who brings 27 years of experience in both siding and windows. He works closely with clients, informing them on all aspects of their window and door installation. His duties include measuring, scheduling, and managing all installation crews with great pride and diligence. He credits his drive and determination to doing the best job possible to his parents Command Sergeant Major (Ret) John & Jeanne Sublousky. He also knows behind every good man is a great woman; in his case there are three: his lovely wife, Sherry, and daughters, Savannah, born 1992, and Sadie, born 1994. His favorite past times are listening to his daughters play violin in concerts and church orchestra. He and his family attend Thousand Oaks Christian Church. |
 Ryan Sterling
joined Southwest Exteriors in 2008. He has over 14 years experience in residential remodeling and construction. Ryan is a certified installer and manages our window and door department. He takes great pride in his relationships with his installers and our clients. He enjoys working hard and going the extra mile to exceed our client’s expectations. Ryan attends Community Bible Church in San Antonio. |
