James Hardie, manufacturer of Hardiplank siding, has established strict criteria for an installer to be considered at the VIP Level. Here are a few of the key requirements to achieve VIP Level status:
- Customer endorsements every 6 months
- The ability to measure customer satisfaction
- Satisfactory background check with past customers
- Satisfactory record with the Better Business Bureau
- 4 years in business as the same company under the same name
- State licensed
- Full bonded
- Liability insurance
- Place of business (no home-office, garage or P.O. Box)
- Satisfactory credit report
