Job Summary: The Inside Sales Center Representative interacts with potential and existing clients by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner and with exceptional service
  • Set sales appointments for Design Consultants with all decision-makers present
  • Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
  • Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going above and beyond
  • Keep comprehensible records of all conversations and client information in the Company’s CRM software
  • Respond to all online inquiries about products and services.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of and be able to explain Company product features, including but not limited to, brands, lead times, starting costs, and basic installation processes. 
  • Follow up with clients immediately after initial inquiry via confirmation video that includes appointment date and time and appropriate product content 
  • Follow up with clients via phone prior to appointments
  • Manage weekly reports
  • Transfer calls and emails to the appropriate departments and escalate questions and complaints appropriately
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications - Education/Experience 

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in a call center and/or customer service role is strongly preferred

 

Skills and Abilities 

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong phone and verbal communication, and active listening skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Time management and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types and sales techniques 
  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage time effectively

 

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grasp, handle, or feel; talk; and hear
  • The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
